Suzanna Ali of Voices of New York joined forces with Joel Mejia Founder of the Dare to Dream Project to organize the 1st Annual Youth Media/Arts Conference at the 92YTribeca this June 27th 2009. Their goal collectively is to update the education system and provide progressive programs with in communities that young people can be engaged in and learn necessary skills for personal and professional development. Hope you can come and join the full day event of panel discussions, workshops, screenings, art exhibits, and a keynote presentation! After the conference a benefit concert perfermances ny Honey Larochelle, 88keys, and BILAL will be in effect to celebrate Youth Empowerment and help raise funds for youth programs that will build positive critical thinking, confidence and skills training to prepare them for successful futures participating with in their communities as postive role models.

Create a Path
Mentoring and Community building program for girls on probation. They will be lead to find their path, not by authoritative measures but by trying out what they are interested in and creating communities where they can figure out their ways.
