Our resident foodie with many twists

If you were here for our last event, you must have tasted our resident foodie, Yemi Amu's cooking. Originally from Nigeria and a proud Brooklynite of 4 years, she brings all good things, cooks them up together and serves it up...with real love and joy. You feel her soul by eating her food because that's what she puts in, a real mama by nature. Here's a little something about her...

"Yemi O.Amu, M.A. is a health educator, food counselor, passionate cook, and writer who believes that the key to optimum health and well being for both people and the environment begins with the right food choices. Through hands-on training, she motivates people in developing the pleasure of selecting and preparing nutritious foods for themselves and their families. As a result, people develop skills to improve their dietary lives as well as the ability to sustain this change throughout the course of their lives.

Yemi is a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University where she received a Master’s degree in Health Education with a specialization in Nutrition Behavior and Modification."
